About the event

Do you suffer with ruminating thoughts, tension, problems with sleep, irritability, or worry?  Are negative thoughts interfering with your ability to feel secure, self-accepting, or taking away from your ability to experience pleasure? Join Lori Zeh at the serene Oak Grove Retreat Center for a one-day get-away retreat and leave the stressors of life behind you. You will learn how to listen to anxiety, understand the messages it contains, and respond in ways that quiet the unpleasant sensations.

Lori Zeh, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, and Reiki Master with a private practice in Chapel Hill/Durham, NC She has been a psychotherapist for over 30 years helping hundreds of people to gain personal growth and fulfillment by understanding and working through anxiety, depression, and trauma.

She will help you connect to your inner wisdom, calm your body’s response to stress, and help you gain new insight and self-awareness by using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, somatic experiencing, writing/drawing, music, and working with energy. You will have time for connecting with others as well as time for quiet reflection.

Cost: $97   Retreat is limited to 20 so register early Important:  Bring your lunch, snacks, and beverages

Wear comfortable clothing, bring a mat, blanket, neck rest/pillow or use the ones supplied at the center. Bring a journal or drawing material for use during the retreat.

  • Dry Tent Camping Space

    Area of approximately 12' x12' per tent for camping in the field or in the woods based on availability. This includes Hammock or Car Camping. If you need more space reserve an extra space. This includes access to the outdoor shower and bathrooms. Please bring you own drinking water.

    Do you like the idea of camping but prefer “all the work’ to already be done for you? Do you enjoy a good night’s sleep on an actual raised bed with comfortable bedding/mattress already provided? Our COMFORTABLE CAMPING glamping tents on raised platforms allow to you to be close to the action yet sequestered close to the woods. You’re a short walk to the composting toilets and outdoor shower. 2- 8" Futon Mattresses. For Friday and Saturday nights only.
