“Last year I had breast cancer and along with the diagnosis came strong enlightenment. I had no idea that I was in an emotional fog regarding events in my life. Suddenly within a matter of hours, I knew that I needed a different kind of treatment for my soul. I already knew that the ‘body’ remembers trauma and I had used self-responsibility and pro activity as a source of movement toward healing, yet I needed something different. Using those skills, I signed up for a Movement Workshop at Oak Grove Retreat the following spring. It was directed by Rebecca. She had taken the class through breathing exercises, tai chi, qigong and then we moved outside where she led us in free style dance movement. While performing the moves, I was overcome with tears. It worked; the movement was releasing stored traumatic energy. I was surrounded by others’ positive energy and Rebecca’s guidance as I moved through the emotional wave onto peacefulness. I highly recommend www.thespirtreemovement.com as a source of wellness for your health toolkit.” Sandy..
